Rental & Decorating Agreement
These are the terms Inventively Witty Parties hires decor and provides decorating services under. You accept them when you send a hire request — nothing is secured until you do.

Parties
This Vendor Agreement is between the Customer named on the request and Inventively Witty Parties (hereafter known as "Vendor"), to render services at the venue named on the request.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed that Inventively Witty agrees to provide Decorating Services at the aforementioned location only.

Installation and tear down
Vendor shall set up and break down at the aforementioned venue all services agreed to in this contract only.
The services covered are the items selected on the request. They are listed in full below.

Deposit
A fifty percent (50%) non-refundable deposit is due at time of signing. The balance is due 24 hours before the event.
Customer has 14 days after signing to cancel services to receive a refund, less a 10% service charge.
The deposit will only be refunded in the event of "Force Majeure"; see details below.

Customer responsibility
- Customer is responsible for cleaning and removing trash, food and any items provided by Vendor off and away from tables and stands, so as not to hinder breakdown time.
- Customer must adhere to the setup and breakdown times given at time of signing. Being late with either may result in an additional fee.
- Customer must correspond via email.
- Customer is responsible for any damage or destruction to rented items and decor placed at the venue (breaks, tears, lost or stolen); additional fees may apply.

Payment
Customer agrees to pay the amount quoted for the decorating and rental services provided by Inventively Witty Parties on the day and at the time set forth in the contract, with a 50% deposit due at signing and the remaining balance due 24 hours before the event.

Default
The occurrence of any of the following shall constitute a material default under this Agreement:
- The failure to make a required payment when due.
- The failure to make available or deliver the Services in the time and manner provided for in this Agreement.

Remedies
If the customer fails the terms or conditions of this Agreement (including without limitation the failure to make payment when due), Inventively Witty Parties may terminate the Agreement by providing written notice to the customer. This notice shall describe with sufficient detail the nature of the default.
The party receiving such notice shall have seven (7) days from the effective date of such notice to cure the defaults. Unless waived by the Vendor providing notice, the failure to cure the defaults within such time period shall result in the automatic termination of this Agreement.

Force Majeure
If performance of this Agreement is prevented, restricted, or interfered with by causes beyond either party's control, and if the Vendor is unable to carry out its obligations and gives Customer prompt written notice of such event, then the obligations of the Vendor shall be suspended.
The term "Force Majeure" shall include, without limitation, acts of God, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine, or fire or severe damage to the venue.

Entire agreement
This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties, and there are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement whether oral or written concerning the subject matter of this Agreement.

Assignment
Neither party may assign or transfer this Agreement.

Acceptance
You accept this agreement by ticking the box on the hire request form and typing your full name. Your name, the date and time, this version and the reference above are recorded with your request. That record is what we both rely on — there is no separate paper signature.
The customer name, venue, event date and price are the ones on the request and the quote we send back.
How this works in practice
- Sending a request does not book anything. It tells us what you are looking for, and records that you have read and accepted these terms. We reply with a quote and confirm the date.
- Nothing is secured until the 50% deposit is paid. Until then the date stays available to everyone.
- Prices, the venue and the event date are agreed per booking and are not fixed by this page.
